Short story, took only 5 minutes on the phone describing what happened with my Micro 380 and what our local gunsmith said and they have a new guide rod and spring in the mail. I was so excited to get it but experienced problems with jams as soon as it came. I read up on it, called Kimber, tried a ton of different ammo and put it many rounds into the hundreds through the firearm.There is the slew of 3.380 Government Model based pistols, of which this Sig is one, so is my Kimber Micro 380 (essentially the same gun). Then there’s the Ruger and all of its derivatives. Then there is the the Walther PK380, the S&W Bodyguard and M&P, the Browning 1911-380. . . I can keep going but I think the point is clear.Feb 12, 2016 · Smart move. Kimber discontinued the Micro because it was a POS. Kimber is the new Colt. Colt quality went to pot in the late 80's when they farmed everything out to save money. Then they continued to demand top dollar because they are Colt. The All American was Colt's Micro. The Micro 9 felt better in my hand and I got a good deal on it (new old stock). Took it out to the range Monday and put 100 rounds through it with no issues. Today I took it out and after 40 rounds, the guide rod broke.

Sorry to hear about the problems you are having with your Micro 380. I wouldn't be too happy either. It seems the Micro 380 and the Solo have more issues than Kimber 1911's . I don't own either so my comments are from what I read hear.
