A TBI Tb is around 450 CFM. the biggest issues with a carb eng is people put WAYYYYYYY too big of a carb on there eng. they think bigger is better. I hate my 78 Camaro due to it is carb. You will need a non-computer controlled transmission (1987 to 1991) or a aftermarket trans controller, TCI makes one. It will easier and cheaper to fix the TBI and it will run better.Has anyone else done TBI to Carb conversion? I think your best bet is remove all the emissions junk if you haven't already.
