Cranks but no start. Ranger had been occasionally running a little ruff over the past month. Seemed to be running on one cylinder for a bit after start, but after running a few minutes would run ok. Afterwards no start or warning lights that you usually get with switch on. The only thing that appears to be getting power is the fuel pump. Battery is hooked up properly and there is juice to the solenoid but nothing from the switch.Check your fuel! Water in fuel causes so many issues.Jan 8, 2016 · my-video-file.mp4. I would give it a little gas and it would start back up most times. But some times I would have to let it sit for a few minutes and then it would start. RACE TECH : Use a screwdriver and jump the 2 together. JACUSTOMER-96d7fx41- : I believe so. I am not with the ranger right now. RACE TECH : Also look around by the battery and by the starter relay. I pulled a plug and it appeared to have spark. I sprayed ether in the intake and it started and ran for about 1 second. Had to give it a shot of starting fluid to start. Used the ranger several times with no problem starting. Ranger started normal today after sitting for over 24 hours.Jul 16, 2020 · 2) Replaced spark plug 3 days ago (7/13/20) 3) Replaced fuel pump 7/13/20. 4) Checked all ground wires. 5) Checked all fuses. 6) Took off and blew out gas line from gas tank to fuel injector. 7) Changed oil/filter to make sure oil was not low. It's fuel injected and you can jump across the solenoid and it will turn over that way but it's not firing and I'm getting power to the solenoid when you turn the key but it won't turn over and I replaced the solenoid along with a programmable ecm that's a plug in play ecm. I did not witness but shortly thereafter the throttle went wide open and smoked like a banshee. My brother hit the kill switch and stopped the engine. If your Polaris Ranger’s engine turns over but fails to start, it could indicate a problem with the spark plugs, fuel system, or electrical components. Check for spark by removing a spark plug and grounding it against the engine while turning over the engine. If there is no spark, inspect and replace the spark plugs if necessary....
