I think there is something fundamentally wrong with this place, and it is really bugging me, which is why I started this thread. Way too danged many friendly souls who post way too danged many interesting threads and way too danged many ...Focus is swift and sure and it makes for a nicer travel/walkaround lens vs the 24-70. But it's a 5:1 zoom vs a 3:1 zoom so there will be some optical compromises. I still like my 24-70E F mount and trying to decide if I should keep it, replace it with the S Version, or just accept the slight optical limitations and 1 stop slower 24-120....
